A shift in
how you meet yourself
Through self-realisation and integration of parts, we move from a place of survival towards a journey of truly living
Change up Counselling helps you understand yourself differently
Sometimes life pushes us further than feels fair or possible. We push, adapt, survive, and carry more than we ever say out loud. Then comes the moment where staying the same feels heavier than the effort to change.
Change up is about meeting that moment with dignity and support — not forcing transformation, but offering a safe place to pause, breathe, and choose a new way forward. You do not need the energy to fix everything. You only need enough to take the next honest step.
My approach is gentle, down-to-earth, and grounded in genuine respect for your story. I work from a person-centred, trauma-informed perspective, which means we move at your pace and in alignment with your values, identity, and culture. I hold a steady, calm presence — here to support, not judge or rush.
Counselling is a collaborative process. Together, we create a space to build clarity, strengthen self-trust, and explore new ways of being in your life and relationships. Small, steady shifts can create meaningful change. You don't have to have it all sorted to begin — just a willingness to show up as you are, and let the work unfold one step at a time.

Ways we can work together
You can access counselling with me in person or online.
-
Most people choose 60-minute sessions, but if you’re self-funding and prefer a little more space, 90-minute sessions are also available. Some people also choose shorter check-ins when that feels right.
However you attend, we’ll move gently and steadily at a pace that supports where you are in your life right now.
-
I offer both in-person and online sessions, depending on your situation and the type of support you’re seeking.
For ACC Sensitive Claims, I currently work with clients in Wellington, providing sessions in person and, where appropriate, via Google Meet. This ensures safety and the level of support needed for ACC work.
If you are elsewhere in New Zealand and interested in working with me through ACC, please get in touch, and we can discuss what's possible and see if there is a way forward.
For EAP and self-funded clients, we can look at whether in-person or online sessions suit you best.
-
Counselling may be accessed through ACC Sensitive Claims, or soon through Raise / Southern Cross Wellbeing (EAP), depending on your circumstances.
If you’re unsure about eligibility or where to begin, you’re welcome to reach out with any questions — we can talk things through at a calm, manageable pace
The path that shaped my practice
Across community organisations, youth services, and primary health, I’ve worked alongside people navigating all kinds of life challenges. These experiences, alongside continued study, have shaped a practice that values compassion, safety, and genuine collaboration.
